Legislators Responsible for Preventing Vape Mail
The Preventing Online Sales of E-Cigarettes to Children Act was introduced in the U.S. Senate by Sens. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and John Cornyn, R-Texas, and in the U.S. House by Reps. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., and Kelly Armstrong, R-N.D. The legislation requires online sellers of e-cigarettes to ensure that the delivery carrier verifies the age of the recipient upon delivery. PACT Act Vape Mail Ban
On December 27th, 2020 the vape mail ban (S.1253) was signed into law. This new law prohibits any vapor-related products from being shipped with USPS. Following the passage of the new law, the major private delivery companies announced that they too would stop delivering vaping products, not just to homes but also to businesses.
